My name is Yulia Lisitsa. I am an artist and pole dancer based in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
I've always been interested in drawing. But I didn't dare to start because like many people I thought that success in drawing only comes to those who are drawing from the childhood and have appropiriate education. I started to draw and to dance when I was 34 years old. I found out that it was ok to start at any age. That the secret to success is to just keep showing up at a drawing (and dancing) session.
I like to try new materials but my favorite are color pencils and Procreate app. I tried watercolors in 2023, and I see the potential for myself in ink drawing as well.
